There is a total ban on any kind of motorists parking, loading, stopping or even breathing here at the crossroads of Lavender Hill, Wandsworth Road, Queenstown Road and Cedars Road during a normal working day because of the obvious dangers. And there are multiple signs warning them.
But, unfortunately, the police turn a blind eye to the cars, vans and lorries which are allowed to stop here in the bus lanes and bus stop to visit the supermarkets and to use the cash machine in the wall of Sainsburys (on the right). In fact, it is so bad at times that maybe someone should ask if a high ranking officer is taking bribes from the supermarkets to "look the other way" (allegedly)
